Dynamike

Dynamike is a retired miner who misses the favorite part of his old job - blowing stuff up!

Pros

  • High damage output.
  • Good at spacing enemies out in combat or away from a secure point.
  • Super useful kill set ups that can change the tide of battle.

Cons

  • Low health.
  • Bad in close combat.
  • Attacks can be avoided easily.

Upgrade priority

2nd1st3rd
  • The attack upgrade is taken first so his damage output can be at it’s max to deal the most amount of damage possible. With a base 160 damage on hit per attack, his full upgrade can almost deal half some characters health.
  • Health is maxed next due to Dynamike only having a measly 600 health.
  • Ultra is maxed last as it is only used to finish off fleeing opponents or denying a area with the ultra’s massive blast radius with a whopping 400 damage instantly.

General strategies & tips

Primary attack

Use Dynamike’s attack delay (of roughly two seconds) to keep enemy characters from approaching your team or an area like the gem mine. This can also be used to allow some time for his team or himself to run in and snatch a Gem while his bombs deny space from the enemy team. His attack does have a delay so it’s always best to be smart with where Dynamike’s attacks are thrown to guarantee damage or deny area from the enemy as the enemy can avoid the attacks rather easily.

Super ability

His super ability is mostly used for denying area just like his attacks, however with the special dealing 400 base damage, it can also be used to finish off an enemy fleeing away. A small micro mechanic to Dynamike’s special is their is a small knockback/stun that occurs when an enemy is hit by his special. This can be used to push away enemies when you flee or cause an enemy to be pushed into Dynamike’s attacks. Throwing a Special and quickly following with a predicted attack area where the enemy is push to can do some serious damage or even kill them.

Events tips

Smash & Grab
Dynamike can be used in Smash & Grab to help zone off enemies and deny area around the Gem Mine. By using Dynamike’s attack, he can fend off enemies and zone them off. Once Dynamike’s special is up, it’s always best to use it as a defensive option when an unsuspecting enemy comes too close.
Showdown
Though Dynamike is not a viable option in showdown, he can still kite and zone off enemies. Be sure to break open crates for Health and attack boosts when no other player is around to kill him or steal the crate as Dynamike is a bad character when it comes to one on one confrontations.

Bounty [8.5]
In bounty, Dynamike is best made as a support for the team where he can deal damage and use his special to set up for a kill. Securing a kill while playing aggressive in bounty is always nice, just be aware of any enemies that can kill Dynamike easily as he is a squishy character.
Heist [3.0]
Attack:
On the offense for Dynamike, it’s always best to stay away and simply harass the enemy team to get Dynamike’s special ability. Once Dynamike’s special ability is up, use his ability to break down the vault’s surrounding wall and/or deal damage to the vault itself.
Defense:
On the defense for Dynamike, it’s the same as offense when it comes to the harassing the enemy team with Dynamike’s attacks, but in this case aim to zone off the confronting enemy team as best as possible. If an enemy Bull or Primo happens to Special to the vault, be sure to throw some attacks and even use Dynamike’s special to get them off the vault as soon as possible.
